Aside from using their head in passing and controlling the ball, there are also great chances where the ball might hit the head of a player when it is kicked which will cause the head injury. Aside from the players running in the field, even the goalie who stays in place near the goal can get a head trauma and this is by getting hit by the ball in the head when defending the goal or accidentally hitting the pole when trying to block the ball away from the goal.
